Understanding what CSMM Committees Do
While we depend on our members and attenders to contribute to the joyful work of keeping our Meeting running, it came to the attention of the Nominating Committee that not everyone had a clear idea of what some committees do. In order to put clear, updated committee descriptions on our website, the Nominating Committee has asked committees and position holders to evaluate and edit current descriptions to make them as clear and correct as possible.
In order to give the entire CSMM community an opportunity to review these descriptions for clarity and accuracy, the Nominating Committee is first posting the new descriptions on the listserve. So please take a look when you see them posted, and see if you feel led to serve in a particular role or committee. And importantly, please let committee clerks know if the description your reading is as clear and helpful as it needs to be. After a two week review period on the listserve, these new committee descriptions will be presented to Meeting for Business and then put up on our website.
Thank you for the continuing gifts of your time and talent, The Nominating Committee
