By Train
           Chatham station is on the Morris-Essex line. Trains originate at Penn Station Manhattan, NY
           and at Hoboken, NJ. Trains arrive and depart even more frequently from nearby Summit, NJ which is on both the Morristown and the Gladstone branches of the line.

By Car  
From I-287: From I-287 heading SOUTH, take Exit 35 (Morristown).

Right at exit ramp, go 0.1 mile to a traffic light

Left on South Street, stay in left lane, go 0.5 mile.

From I-287 heading NORTH, take Exit 35 Right at exit ramp onto South Street, go 0.2 mile
THEN coming from either direction: Left on Woodland Avenue, go 2.5 miles to a traffic light (stay within speed limit - police are diligent). Right on Loantaka, go 0.2 mile. Left on Shunpike. go 0.7 mile to 2nd traffic light (YIELD when turning left onto Shunpike). Right on Southern Boulevard, go 1.7 miles.
Left at Quaker Meeting sign into the driveway and up the hill. (about 1/2 mile past large churches on left)


From Northeast, NYC and Southeast:
          Take the NJ Turnpike or Garden State Parkway to I-78/NJ-24 west.
          Take NJ-24 when it splits from I-78 take Rt 24 to exit 7A (Chatham). This feeds
           directly into NJ-124/Main St. Chatham, NJ. Go through the town center of Chatham, NJ to 
           Lafayette St. (on the left)/VanDoren (on the right). Left onto
          Lafayette, go to the end. Right onto Southern Boulevard. Go approximately 100 yards to the 
Quaker Meeting sign and driveway on the right.
From eastern upstate NY and Tappan Zee: Take the NY Thruway to Exit 15; Take I-287 south to Exit 37 onto
          NJ-24. Exit NJ-24 at exit 7, River Road Summit. At the bridge immediately after
           the Shell station the name changes to Watchung Ave, start counting traffic
          lights. The fifth light is Lafayette St. Turn left onto Lafayette, go to 
           the end, turn right and go approximately 100 yards to the Quaker Meeting sign
and driveway on the right.
From western upstate NY:
           Get onto I-80 east in Pennsylvania, turn onto I-287 south in NJ.
The third exit is 37 for NJ-24. Follow the instructions above.
From the southwest:
          Take I-78 east to Exit 44 New Providence. Turn left at the light,
          go 0.5 miles to another light, turn left and go under the Interstate, over a
         hill, through the center of New Providence, NJ, across the Passaic River bear right and
          start up a second hill. The name of the street will be Glenside Ave., South
           St., Passaic Ave., and then River Road. At a "T" intersection with a traffic
           light turn left onto Southern Blvd and up a steep hill. Continue past
           Lafayette Street on your right to the Quaker Meeting sign and
driveway 100 yards on the right.
