From CS-Quakers

Our children and young people are a valued part of our meeting. The whole community worships together for the first 15 minutes and then children adjourn to their classes.

We believe values are transmitted best as we work and learn side-by-side. Our Religious Education program is determined by our Religious Education Committee and staffed by meeting volunteers.

Pre-K The peace of Meeting for Worship is a valued respite for parents of pre-school children. We employ someone to care for our youngest children during Meeting for Worship.
K-8th grade Depending on the number and age of children, this age group is divided into 2 or 3 classes. They study the Bible, Quaker history and Quaker values in everyday life as they meet and learn about the passions of members of our community. Field trips, plays and puppet shows find their way into the curriculum.
High School Our young adults grapple with applying Quaker testimonies to contemporary concerns in their own lives. This group also goes on service and Quaker history-oriented extended field trips, such as a service trip to Costa Rica, Habitat for Humanity, and a Quaker Pilgrimage to England.
